Why Seminole?
- 22,000+ families in Florida are on waitlists for services, some for over a decade.
- The average cost of therapy is $60,000 per child each year.
- 7.4% of children in Florida are uninsured, limiting access to developmental care.
Today, OCA supports more than 300 clients and delivers more than 130,000 service hours annually, yet demand continues to outpace available services.
This expansion will help bring programs, support, and community closer to families in Seminole County, Lake County, Volusia County and beyond.
Programs Coming to Seminole
The new location will begin by offering adult programs and school break camps, with additional programs added over time.
Adult Programs
OCA’s adult day programs are designed for individuals who have transitioned out of the school system and are ready for greater independence, purpose, and community involvement. Each track provides daily structure, personal growth, and meaningful peer connection in a supportive environment. With individualized programming and low staff-to-client ratios, participants build essential life skills like hygiene, budgeting, meal preparation, and community access, while also gaining employment readiness through job training and volunteer opportunities
Recreation
OCA offers summer camp and after-school programs designed to keep participants active, engaged, and growing beyond the school day. Through a blend of recreation, arts, music, movement, and functional communication training, participants build essential life skills while enjoying a variety of on-site activities and community field trips throughout the year.
Therapy
OCA’s therapy services are offered as wrap-around or individualized services to help each individual build the skills they need to thrive at home, in school, and in the community. Delivered by a licensed and credentialed team, services use an evidence-based, collaborative approach across a variety of settings to support each person’s unique growth and development.

- 100% of participants receive support regardless of financial circumstance.
