A Special Place for Special Needs.

Helping change the lives of children and adults with autism and other special needs in Central Florida.

What We Do.

Therapy Department

OCA incorporates Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) into all our programs, providing Board Certified Behavior Analysts and Registered Behavior Technicians to work across departments. Specialized services are offered for one-on-one therapies in ABA and Mental Health Counseling. We offer group services for social skills building and early intervention. We aim to service children ages 18 months through adulthood to reduce problem behaviors, build skills, and meet their individual needs for the best quality of life.

Recreation Program

OCA takes healthy living seriously and offers programs for Pee Wee participants (3-7 years), School Age participants (8-22 years) and Adults (22+). Programs include afterschool recreation, school break camps, Running Man Theatre Company, and Special Olympics Training. Engaging our mind and body improves health and decreases challenges of daily living.

Adult Programs

For those 18 years old and up, OCA offers choices in planning the next phase of life. We have programming Monday through Friday in our Vocational Training Track, our Life Skills Track, and our Companion program. Activities are provided both on-site and, in the community, to maximize the opportunity to expand a participant's abilities.

About OCA.

OCA was founded in 2008 with the knowledge that children and adults with autism and other disabilities need more opportunities to engage in age-appropriate activities with their typical peers. We offer Recreation Programs, Adult Program, Camps, Special Olympics training, ABA Therapy and other services for the Special Needs Community in Central Florida. “Special Needs” are commonly defined by what a person can’t do. OCA focuses on what an individual CAN DO.

We help change the lives of children and adults with autism and other special needs in Central Florida.

    RESPECT

We provide services and interactions with respect and dignity, while focusing on the individual's ability, not their disability.
