OCA serves people, ages 18 months and up, with autism and/or other special needs. Each year, we serve an average of 150 people across multiple programs. Approximately 80% of participants in our adult programming have an autism diagnosis. Our participants come from diverse backgrounds across Central Florida.

The OCA team determines individuals’ strengths and maximizes programs to bring out those abilities, creating greater independence for them. “Independence” could mean a grade-schooler learning to tie his own shoes, a teenager gaining skills to have the confidence to start a conversation to make new friends or a young adult learning to prepare a meal or a new job skill. OCA works to support our participants by providing meaningful experiences that build social, emotional, vocational, and life skills.
