DO YOU DREAM OF ...

Are you a student with dreams of working in education, psychology, medicine, occupational therapy, physical therapy, language, behavior therapy, mental health, recreation, ESE education or social services? Or are you looking to round out your educational experience with knowledge in a new field?

Are you a parent or caregiver and want to give back to the community in the little free time you have?

Are you a friend of someone with a disability and want to do more to enhance the lives of people with disabilities?

Are you a business looking for a team building event where you can also do good in your local community?

If any of these descriptions fit you or if you are just looking for a new volunteer opportunity then you found the right spot! No matter your availability or your experience level, OCA offers a wide variety of volunteer opportunities for middle school, high school, college students, adults and businesses. Our partnerships within the community change the lives of both our participants and those who choose to volunteer.

“We had such a wonderful afternoon engaging with the team at OCA! It was so meaningful to us to be able to form those connections with the students and with your facility. The tie dye activity was such a fun way to collaborate and have fun alongside the campers. We learned that there are so many tasks that are seemingly small that can make such a difference in the lives of those around us. Thank you so much for having us and we look forward to our continued partnership.”

“Honestly I cannot call the time I spend at OCA volunteering because I’m just there hanging out with friends.” OCA has given me exactly what it stands for. I had the opportunity to compete in the USA games and win gold playing the sport I love. I was welcomed into a community that I can call family. Nevertheless, the ability to be myself and feel supportive in everything I do.”
