The Running Man Theatre Company

THE RUNNING MAN THEATRE COMPANY is Central Florida’s premiere theatre company for actors of all abilities. We strive to create fun and inclusive theatrical works, ranging from well-known classics like “Beauty and the Beast” to our own original productions, like “The Legend of OCA.” Running Man Theatre has been showcasing the exciting and unique story-telling powers of its company members for five years, in original works, classics, and now musicals.

Most recently, Running Man Theatre took to the stage to debut RAP-Unzel: An Original Rap Musical. This rap musical retells the story of Rapunzel, a lost princess who had been stolen by a wicked witch and longs for independence. When a prince tries to rescue Rapunzel, it isn’t exactly love at first sight. But there is more to Rapunzel, and the witch, than meets the eye, in this magical adventure. 

Our mission is to provide a place in our community where artists of all abilities have an opportunity to grow as performers, designers, and directors. We affirm that access to the arts is important at every stage of life: from childhood to adulthood. We are a theatre company that is committed to a respectful and inclusive rehearsal and performance space—characterized by listening, discipline, risk-taking, and affirmation. We commit to challenge ourselves to reach new creative heights and to conduct our work according to professional theatrical standards.
