OCA offers a variety of quality programs for adult individuals with autism and other special needs who have graduated or aged out of high school.  Click the tabs above to learn about the programs and services currently being offered.

If your child has not participated in an OCA Event, email registration forms to: Programs@GoOCA.org and request to schedule an in-person observation with participant.  When accepting new participants we look at the individual's needs, strengths, and abilities before approving participation in programs, services & events.

This service is a therapeutic interaction and can be used in a variety of ways.  Consultations with behavior analyst for problem solving all the way to full assessment and behavior plan, we will train you to deal with challenging behaviors and build skills or provide 1:1 therapy with one of our trained staff for specific goals.

OCA's Adult Vocational Training Program provides unique learning opportunities for adults with autism and other disabilities in the Greater Orlando community.  Pre-vocational training is provided on campus to build prerequisite skills to be successful in our off-campus program.  Our off-campus program provides a supported environment for our participants to grow in the work force community with the help of one of our amazing business partners. 

Our qualified staff works with each participant to develop a training program to utilize individuals’ strengths and provide meaningful growth opportunities.  OCA's goal is to provide all individuals with Autism and other disabilities a meaningful experience to gain knowledge and exposure to varying career paths to assist them in reaching their long term goals. Currently, OCA is working with Stop Hunger Now, First Baptist of Orlando-Food Ministry,  Publix- Baldwin Park, Winter Park YMCA, Outback Steakhouse- Winter Park, Chili's- Altamonte Springs, Aloma Bowl,  and The Exchange- OCA's storefront to provide job training experiences

Adult Vocational Training Program: Mon-Fri 8:00a-2:00p (6 hours per day)

Working both in the community and on site, this service allows our adult consumers the opportunity to develop vocational skills in a supported environment.  Daily community inclusion is scheduled.  The ratios listed below are determined by the matrix completed during the intake process and will be examined on an annual basis. 

Fee schedule: Full time- 5 days a week /Part time is 3 days a week

One to Five ratio……………………………………………………………$43 a day/$43.33 a day

One to Three ratio…………………………………………………………$49 a day/$50 a day

One to Two ratio……………………………………………………………$55 a day/$55 a day

Here at OCA, we know that all caregivers need the chance to get away.  We offer skilled childcare/adult care to provide a break for families and allow flexibility in caregivers schedules.  All staff are trained in Positive Behavior Supports and thus this is no ordinary babysitting.  This will offer you the chance to finally get away and know your child is taken care of. 

Respite services can be scheduled with a weeks’ notice and are provided in the family or individuals home.  Services start at a minimum of 2 hours and can include overnight stays.  Respite hours are purchased a la carte, in packages, or utilizing an overnight rate.  Each family will be matched with a staff member that best meets the needs of your family and individual.  If you have a group event, feel free to contact us to discuss group rates for up to 10 children on site.

OCA's Social Skills Events are held throughout the year at various locations in Orlando.  This program, offered through OCA's therapy team, encourages children ages 8 and up and adults of any age the opportunity to work on social skills training and language development.  Age-appropriate activities are held in structured settings with staff and CITs- (volunteer Counselors-in-Training) working with participants to model typical peer skills and behavior.  At OCA Social Skills Events, a fun time is had by all!!

PRE-REGISTRATION & PRE-PAYMENT IS REQUIRED 3 business days prior to the event.  Space is limited, be sure to register early.

OCA is a registered training program with Special Olympics Orange County and participates in year round Special Olympics.  All athletes must have an Application for Participation form on file with Special Olympics Orange County.

OCA participates in the following seasons: Fall, Winter and Summer seasons.  All Athletes compete in County and Area games. 

Fall: August-October: Bowling and Softball

Winter: November-February: Basketball

Summer: January-May: Soccer and Soccer Skills
