Potential employees seeking employment with OCA will be trained in Positive Behavior Support, Professional Crisis Management and be given the opportunity to participate in staff trainings year round.  All employees upon hire date must have CPR/First Aid and a mandatory Level 2 background check which OCA will schedule.

Job Descriptions:

Direct Support Staff- AVT (Adult Vocational Training)- Full-time or Part-time

Provide direct services to adults with developmental disabilities in a vocationally focused program. Individual must ensure the quality of care and training, with a focus on person-centered, goal oriented day placement with a focus on building prerequisites for community based vocational opportunities.

Direct Support Staff- Recreation program- Full- time or Part-time

Under the supervision of the Program Manager, assists with extracurricular recreational programs and day camps. Facilitates programs and activities while ensuring the safety, general welfare and enjoyment of students and volunteers. Leads various recreational activities and programs. Develops and follows weekly programming plan for all participants.

Direct Support Staff- Behavior Assistant- Full- time or Part-time

Under supervision of the Director of Services, provides direct services to clients in the facility, the community, in the school setting, and in the home, as well as assists with the extracurricular recreational programs and day camps as requested. Work is reviewed through supervision meetings, observation of direct services, and performance evaluations for adherence to established policies and procedures.
